Social dogs play with other campers, while those that prefer human company can choose from lots of other activities—playing fetch, going for a walk or just cuddling

P.A.C. is specifically designed for puppies between 2-8 months old. Each day focuses on a healthy balance of both physical and mental stimulation! Small group sizes give our staff the opportunity to focus more on each individual camper in a smaller setting.

Like children, young dogs need to be exposed to a lot of different stimuli in order to learn and grow accustomed to changing environments. Puppy Adventure Camp offers exposure to new people, new dogs, and new sights, smells, and sounds.

Puppy Adventure Camp provides the perfect setting to learn and grow with new friends! Early puppy socialization is highly effective in positively shaping your puppy's temperament for the rest of his/her life.

Puppy Adventure Camp is an ongoing program, so we have new campers joining each week. Call now for more information!

Dog Daycare Policies

  • Daycare play groups are for well-socialized dogs. If your dog requires help learning to play appropriately with other dogs, you must enroll them in our Play Therapy training program. Once your pup has learned the appropriate social skills, they can participate in our regular playgroup sessions.

  • Play groups are not for every dog. Some dogs don’t play well with others and some simply don’t enjoy it. It’s perfectly normal for dogs to not want to play with unfamiliar dogs. Don’t worry, we offer plenty of other more appropriate activities. Our trained counselors will help you pick the best option for your dog.

  • Dogs attending our full-day program receive two play group sessions or alternate activities such as a buddy time or a trail walk.

  • Dogs attending our half-day program receive one play group session or individual activity.

  • Dogs in our daycare program enjoy an individual resting space in our bunkhouse. For an additional fee, you can book a window or patio room upgrade if available.

  • For health reasons, more and more veterinarians now recommend late neutering and spaying (after growth plates close, which can be up to 2 years of age). But not allowing these unaltered dogs to build and practice their social skills around other dogs can be detrimental to their long-term behavioral health. This is why we allow unaltered dogs in our play groups.

    • Studies show that for males, rather than being the aggressor, un-neutered male dogs often tend to be aggressed on by other male dogs. This often leads to dogs learning to be more aggressive. (The best defense is a good offense!) Because we want to help your dog develop healthy behaviors and enjoy their camp experience, we continually monitor every dog’s behavior and interactions in playgroup. We may remove a dog from playgroup if needed to protect the safety of all dogs.

    • We allow un-spayed female dogs in playgroups except when they are in season. Females in season can still attend daycare and enjoy alternate activities. We do ask that un-spayed females be thoroughly bathed after their season and before returning to playgroups.
