About
How it Started
Dana and Shannen met each other through participating in dog sports. Their mutual dog nerdiness led them on many fun adventures and through the years a seed was planted of working and building something together. In 2019, they started making their dream a reality with the founding of Flourish Canine Services for training, dog sports, and rehabilitation (physical therapy for dogs).
It was serendipitous that when Jenni Lott (founder of CPC) was looking to transition on to the next facet of her life, Dana and Shannen became part of the conversation for the next phase of CPC and the reality of acquiring the 5+ acre property, 10,000sq ft training facility and 8,000 sqft boarding facility started coming to fruition.
Shannen, Dana, and Jenni share a common ethos regarding dog welfare: enriching the relationships between humans and their canine partner(s) through science-based training and compassionate methods of care. They are honored to be able to continue Jenni’s vision for dogs and our community, and look forward to growing the service options available, staying connected to the community, and continuing to enhance and enrich the relationships between animals and their owners!
